Pupils, senior citizens and computers –
how does this all
fit together?

Pupils learn "history"
as a school subject.  .
Senior citizens have experienced "history" directly and can pass on this acquired knowledge.
Most of them are computer-literate Many of them are interested in the new medium "computer".

'Kollektives Gedächtnis'' is a project where the generations unite to share their experience and knowledge.

Whether young or old, we benefit from each other. Students of the Gesamtschule Bergedorf – Stadtteilschule interview living witnesses about their historical background and experiences.  The team of our editorial office consists of ten seniors, attendees of the ‘’BegegnungsCentrum Haus im Park’’, and ten students.

Their object is, mainly, to prepare, correct and finish written interviews and reports for publication on the internet.

From 2000 to 2005 the ‘’Kollektives Gedächtnis’’ has been a partial project in the ‘’BLK’’ – Section: ‘’Lebenslanges Lernen’’ - network ‘‘Lernkultur‘‘.

Starting 2005 the ‘’Kollektives Gedächtnis’’- project continued without BLK-Support. Until 2009 the ‘’Haus im Park’’ cooperated with the Gymnasium Lohbrügge.
